HP gains? how hard is it to do, and why should someone do it?

I think gains are like between 5-10 hp and torque. If you have an auto, it is a little tougher to install, but it doesn't seem impossible. Are you thinking about the group deal?

I'm guessing that the hp gain is closer to 5hp (at the wheels). The car will definitely rev quicker. I also had to manually shift earlier to keep the car from hitting the rev limitter.

The install isnt' that bad, even on an auto. The problem with an auto is that the engine keeps turning when you try to loosen up the crank pulley bolt. You can't just leave it in gear and have a buddy step on the brake like on a stick.

Once you remove your passenger side wheel and are at the point where you want to remove the pulley, you'll need to wedge in your ratchet and go blip the starter to loosen the crank pulley bolt. As soon as I get home, I'll reply again with a pic so you can see exactly how I did it on my automajik. Others have used this trick as well... Y2KevSE for instance.

Both Kev and I have pictures of the belts you'll need on our websites. You can check out either of our sites for more info.
