winny,squeeky noise..cant figure it out.

Ok so i start the car and after about a minute i get the winny noise comming from the driver side by my intake somewhere around there.Thought it was the belts but its not comming from that side. When i put the car in gear or reverse it gets worse...when i give on the can its fine but when i start braking it comes back and when the car idles. It sounds like the belts to me but its not.Any idea what it could be?

Check your CV joints for tear, your ball joints and your tie-rods, you should find the cause there, in my case it was a combo of bad cv axles and bad tie rods, all better now.

perhaps, in my case it was the tie rods which I never would have guessed had I not repaced my CV joints plus alot of shops tend to miss the ball valves and tie rods upon inspection, and just tell you you need new CV joints cuz it's more expensive to replace than tie rods $750 > $70

Does this sound happen before you're moving? Does it happen when you're stationary?

If yes.....then it has nothing to do with CV joints, axles, tie rods, or anything at all related to the suspension.

check your rear brakes, it may sound like it's coming from the front when it could be coming from the back (i.e. warning clip on rear brakes) I just did my rear brakes and they were worn down to dust another month and they could have fux0red up my rotors.
