My gf lost the only key to our 93 and i was wondering how much do you think it will cost to have the stealership cut a new one?

 

depending if theycan get the key code on it, it will cost anywhere from 47 for a new key to $70 for a custom-cut key by a locksmith.

 

On my last '90 Max when I bought it, I just had the valet key. I called a local Nissan dealership to see if they could cut a key based n the VIN. They said Nissan had purged all the info for Max keys so they only had 95 and newer. Unsure if this is accurate or not though.

 

so did you let her drive your max?!?

if you still have the key code which is sometimes on a sticker in the glovebox. You can have a key cut for next to nothing.
I had one cut for $5 the other for free
I was told that nissan didn't keep codes further back than 94 a couple of years ago so it may have changed since then.
if you can pull a lock out a locksmith can make a key from that pretty easily.
