Has anyone seen the pic of the 4th gen in the September 2001 issue of Super Street page 188 (In the smaller magazine that come with the big one). I love the graphics. I wonder who owns the car? First Max I've seen in a magazine in a real long time.

 

Yeah thats one thing that makes me pretty mad. I hardly ever see a Maxima in any magazines. I see tons and tons of Honda's, Acura's, Celica's, Focus's, Jetta's, Supra's, you name it anything but Maxima's. I guess they just dont think there is enough people in the performance Maxima market. I think that "Sleeper" who I met at the Liberty State Park meet on June 3rd should get a shot at it since his max looks awesome and he also claims he ran an 11.9 in the 1/4 mile at Englishtown, NJ. If he can find his timeslip, I think he'd have a good chance.

 

I was wondering, who could we write or petition to get more coverage on our Maximas, in the magazine. I love them all but, I get tired of looking at Honda's, Acura's (Expensive Honda's), and the others. I'm just curious about what I or we need to do.

I think I've heard of a max in almost every super street issue this year, maybe its a coincidence!!

 

I'm going to go downstairs in my office building to check out a copy of Super Street. I'll see.

I forget which Mag it is but the cover had four cars a miata a eclispe an integra i think and a sentra. I know it is not a Max but at least nisan is getting in there. They were all cars with over 400 HP. Maybe enough nissans get credit then they will look at us too.
