2K2 HID Headlamp Assembly arrived TODAY!!!
Got them from DaveB today and let me tell you, the install it going to take me 15mins a side.
There are a total of 7 wires you need to hook up.
3 for the Xenon plug, (1ground, 1positive for HID, and 1positive for clear parking corner light)
2 for the turn signal (1ground, 1positive)
2 for 9005 High beam bulb (1ground, 1positive)
I can see this install taking no more than 5mins on the wiring. Just a matter of splicing into the wires.
For all of you who thought the clear corner was a light that comes ON with the turnsignal is WRONG. It is simple a wedge bulb that comes on with your parking lights.
This is the THE most simplest wiring assembly on the planet. DaveB hooked me up in the sense where he found all the adapter plugs so I makes my life ALOT easier.
You can see the pics I just took for a better picture of what I am talking about.

And dont harass me about installing them right now, I am in the process of moving and my fiance already *****ed me out for opening the box and taking pictures while she is packing.

I feel you on that one.
Sounds simple as hell. With more lights in front that means more lights to rewire to blink!! Im gonna wire up the parking light to blink with the side marker, which will be alternate blinking from the blinker.... Sweet

What are the Fogs like on the 2k2?
Seems like with the HIDs, the fogs become pretty useless. Does anyone know what kind of bulbs they are using on the 2k2 for the fogs?
I'm definitely in for the HIDs once someone does a comprehensive how-to.

Quick question. SInce the 2k Max has a light switch that does not allow low beam and high beam to be on at the same time, how do you plan to get around this? Additional relay, rewire of current relays?
Good luck with you move.

5-mins. ya right. Don't forget about the two relays and fuse block you'll need along with making every connection moisture proof or else down the road you'll regret it. Also, the stock harness will not support 35Watts + 60Watts, so don't even think about using it for both grounds. Anways, good luck and I look forward to hearing IF the HIDs work with just power/ground.
