Those with AFC Step in

I have an Apexi Neo and yesterday kyle(MOHFpro) and I were installing it in my car. We checked every wire after we connected it, starting with the Power source, then the RPM and it worked, then the throttle signal and it worked, but when we started the car it stalled. All the settings were at there defaults. So my first question is, will it make that much of a difference by not having the airflow sensors wired to the AFC?

My second question is, what is everyone else running for there settings for the maps and there in out settings as well?

well if you dont have the airflow sensor connected it wont make any corrections. you should have setup the afc a little before starting. you need to calibrate the throttle and rpm, set it to 6cyl and up/right arrow. then you can start it.

if you read the directions it clearly says dont start till done with setting up the afc. Make sure all of your connections are good go through the setup then start the car.

it stalls the first time and then the second time you start it, it will run but very rough

As long as the ratio is 1:1, (1:1, 2:2, 17:17, etc...) IIRC, 5th gen is 17/17, but I've used 1/1 and it worked fine, hence my theory above.
