I'm not a fan, but I have a pearl max and I don't think adding black to a Texas car would be a good idea. If you like it, go for it.

I been thinking about this for awhile. I'm pearl white and I'm gettin a CF hood/trunk...I was contemplating whether or not to get the roof painted black, just not sure how the lines would flow.

You obviously never lived in Texas where you have many 100+ days in a row. Have you ever seen car windows blow out from the heat build up inside the car? It happens it Texas. Have you ever burned your legs on your seats? I'm not talking "ow that's hot" I'm talking honest to God third degree burns.

Yeah, and why wouldn't you paint it? Might as well do the whole thing at that point...

well for one this isnt the weather channel. secondly, i've lived in texas 20 years so i know what its like to have no less than a buck-o-five temps everyday. sorry buddy nice try So im sure the people out here that have overlays dont care about the heat. so what you worried about the wrong thing.

back to on topic. That overlay looks pretty good. I would have to see one on a maxima to decide if I'd want it on my car though. bluebat has some cool products.

I think they are awesome. I'd go for a plain black one to cover the terrible condition my roof is in, but last time I checked, I don't think the 5th gen Maxima has noticeable lines the overlay would fit in (i.e. G35/350Z/6th Gen).

If we could make it work, I'm in.

i'd love to have one of these for the 5.5 gen (w/sunroof of course).

these are also good when outrunning a police helicopter at nite
