Check out my really cool Rotor Glowing mod...

lawlz... these stock calipers are SICK... Don't you juse love the sick effect they make on fairly new Brembos? lol

Note.. Tried to take a pic as fast as possible but it looks pink. It was about as red as a stop light. And yes, I did notice Drag and yes I pulled over at a gas station as soon as I saw it, and yes my friend lit his Cigerette off of it. Sorry no vid of that tough :-P

I hope you'll be replacing those pads after you fix the caliper.

The brakes are a bout 7months old too, and axxis pads... This sucks cause They were expensive. I wonder if Nissan hasa Recall on the calipers on this car. but they prob won't do anything for me for free. lol...

The thing I am worrying about the most is if it warped I mean.. It was at molten steel already and it could of warped.

Recall - No.

If your calipers are original you got to remember that they are 10 years old and are probably due for replacement. Check and make sure that your guide pins are moving freely first before you go out and get replacement calipers. Stuck guide pins can cause your brakes to lock up too since they wont alow the caliper to 'recenter' itself when the brakes are released allowing the pads to disengage too.

If your calipers are stuck.... Take en off! Soak them in mystery oil! overnight
Works wonders.. Then pull them out.... Use degreaser and compressed air to clean en up!
Worked on my 95 Max!

lolz... No but I think I hit my 00VI and got 500 extra HP... lawlz

im JK-ing I would'nt spend $400 bucks for a 20HP addon. I would just buy a Gen 5.5 max If I wanted something faster.

Why 20hp for $400 sounds down right cheap to me.

400$ for 20hp vs 10k for a newer car. Your logic is flawed.

My logic is not flawed when you get a newer updated everything(not to mention a younger car, but probably less relible because they are no longer made in a Japan) with a faster and higher TQ VQ35 engine rated at 255HP that has VI and Varaible valve timing. vs. a VQ30 with a 00VI which gets u about 220HP maybe 225HP with full exhaust and intake. And no I don't mean buying the Gen5 Max with VQ30. I mean the 5.5. with the VQ35. I think a lot or most Gen5 SEs have VLSD which is a great plus.

a Gen 5.5 will in return will shave off at least .5 secs stock to our Gen4's with all that together stock. And more upgraded it maybe a slightly unglier car but its better in a lot of ways and could be my next max, if I decide to go for a max again.

First off, 5.5's were still made in Japan. Second a 5th gen weighs more than a 4th gen, therefore a 4th gen w/ an 00vi will be faster/damn close to a stock 5.5 gen. And not all 5.5's came with HSLD, it was a factory option.

With a fed spec conversion, y pipe, intake, 00vi, and an afc tune I expect my car to run low 14s, right in the mix with an 02-03 max. The 4th gen weighs less than a 5.5 gen and will produce about the same (if not a little less) whp as a "fully bolted on" 4th gen.

I am satisfied with the $1200 or so I have invested in the car for performance. I know it is faster than most other stock maximas out there. It would make sense if the car was only $1200 more, but it not. I would have paid $5000 more for a 5.5 over my 4th gen to be just as fast. Nothing against 5.5 gens, hell I would have bought one if I had the money, but a modded 4th gen is just as fast.
