"Street Warz Class" My Sunday Afternoon

So they have this new class for our local CSCS (Canadian Sport Compact Series). I didn't think it would be very popular. These is the description:

This class features street legal cars running
no quicker than 12.50. In "Street Racing"
style drivers and fans only get to see a win
light, no ET times are posted.

.500 Pro Tree

I decided to enter both the Bracket and Street Warz event just for kicks. Well it was a busy afternoon. It turns out that the Street Warz was the most popular class with over 40 entries. After a grueling number of passes and hot lapping to get back to the start line because the 2 classes were back to back, I did not too bad.

Next time I think I will stick to one class, getting too old for this.

Awesome, well done Jim! You cleaned house!! Must have felt good to pull off the double. Pretty good haul for an afternoon too...

Was it as windy up there as it was here in KW?

Sounds like you had fun even if you're tired, I spent all day helping knight_yyz overhaul his front end and change an O2 sensor. Not so fun with all the seized fasteners/parts we ran into but oh well.

Jim did you see one of the guys I know there? Beigy/brown 71 Camaro with a big block (brand new motor), I think he was running high 10's? I'll have to ask him if he saw your car run, I'm sure he would have noticed a/your Maxima since he's seen mine run.

I think I might have but I really didn't have much time to watch the T&T guys, although this time there weren't too many.

This was one of my closest runs. I won by 4/100ths. This guy had a 13.3 dial so I changed mine to a 13.3 also for a heads-up run. Our reactions were very close 2/1000ths and we both ran under our dial, him just a tad more than me. I really didn't know who won until the win light came on.

Ok I never get vids anymore since my Son stopped going to the track. However that is going to change now that he has a 350Z. Well he didn't go sunday but sometimes other folks take vids, here is one of them.

Oh ya the board in my lane is still not fixed you have to extrapolate to get the #'s. 12.59@107.90. This the street warz class qualifying runs. Can't run faster than a 12.5.
