Very stupid question...SE/GXE/GLE??

I bought my car off a guy who lives in Poland....his brother had the car out here though. He said he has no idea which one it is. How can you tell? It has white guages and no chrome handles...gotta be the SE right? It says all 3 on the title.

I've seen some really mixed-up Maximas out there. Chrome door handles, white gauges, spoiler, no foglights, etc. I guess the best indicator is the VIN number.

vin number is your best bet however if it helps i have a 1996 Maxima GLE, no fog lights, leather interior, black gauges.

hmm
Those are all standard GLE items.

For the record, given what I have seen from brochures and what not, just about anything from any model was able to be optioned out to any other model of the same year. It would be very possible to have a GXE with all SE options, for example.

I still don't get why people ask all the time when the information is easily found either through the VIN or the model information on the VIN plate.

I'm well aware, I never said you were asking.
