i have a 98 Maxima and recently was having problems with it cooling. It would sometimes and others have to turn off and on a few times to get it to blow cold air. Wuts Wrong?! ive heard about some door that might be closed. is that true and can it be done by yourself?! is so HOW? THNX GUYS!

 

try recharging your a/c you can do it yourself from the DIY kit from autozone

 

Door? Well you can perform a quick diagnostic with your A/C system as stated in the FSM

Don't have the FSM? check pmohr's sig.

I would do all of the free checks I can before I goto the store and buy something.

 

I chekd the pressre on the low side at it was maxed out on gauge. I'm pretty sure I did it rite.

 

check ur line pressure and if its not that get some frion charge
