Well.. I have leather power seats on my car.. and I moved the seat back yesterday and now it won't go back to normal.. the motor just dies but it will go back more okay.. is there a manual way to fix it temporarily? How much will a motor cost me?

any ideas?

I happen to measure the motor connector voltage the other day for other purpose. when control switch is pushed forward the voltage has one polarity, when switch pushed backward the voltage polarith reverses to make the seat motor spin in the other direction. Do you mean the motor will only go one way (backward) and not the other? If yes then I think motor is probably OK but the control switch is not.
