Could possibly be a old dieing battery. Cold weather is a real test for an old battery. How old is your battery? You are lucky to get 4-5 years out of a battery.

Engine coolant temp sensor. Or if the car starts up and then dies, it could be a dirty throttle body.

By the way, problem threads are so much nicer with illustrations, even if the illustrations have little to do with the problem. There should be an illustration requirement when starting a thread....

Battery, Starter, Cam Sensor, Ignition Switch. Thought it was due to Battery so once I had that replaced still had a Cold Start up issue, then i replaced the Starter that lasted for awhile but then problem came back, then once i replaced both the Cam Sensor and Ignition Switch, starts up even in 20degree weather

I had 3 different types of starting problems with my old 96 maxima.
(starter, air flow meter, engine fuse)
now I got a 98 max that I bought in april. so the weather was warm in LA up until now.
in the mornings its about 50 degrees and when I start the car the rpm would drop way too low and bounce back. but today it didnt come back up and the engine turned off.
today I wanted to order a new fuel filter but I thought I should ask u guys if anyone knows where i should start checking first.

more info about the car:
battery has a sticker 5/05 and I put in a system 2 months ago.
short ram intake. (either messed up the throttle body or the air flow meter?)

With the battery date that old, it'd probably be best to get a new battery for the hell of it, too.

Sorry to drag this back to the top and also off topic but I have to ask, how the HELL do you not get pulled over for these lights?
I imagine most regular members here may not like your lights but I find them very nice. Really cool look. Not sure about the fogs but..they're not awful. Awesome headlights though and i like the turn signal lights.
