Removing the two allen head bolts on aftermark exhaust?

I remember reading something about removing the bolts and pulling the inside out...But not sure for what reason? Is there a modification or something?

System sounds pretty damn good. Almost a little too quiet. Sounded better when the system was broke at the axle!!!
Not bad for $150 and free shipping

That part at the end that people remove is a silencer. If you take it out, the exhaust will be louder.

What size is the piping on that exhaust? The picture says 2.25 inches, but the description says 2.5...

Gotcha. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something that was not going to go back in once taken out! Ill have to test it tomorrow. I didn't measure it but I can check it out tomorrow. Sure seemed like 2.5 to the eye. Either way, didn't really concern me as I needed a cheap replacement to my broken system. And I wasn't spending $400 bills on something I can really care less about.

Second thought, I remember people saying in the feedback that it was indeed 2.25

Whoa the system is almost too loud w.o that restrictor! Although, does sound quite nice. Im going to cut the tube half way to see if I can be louder then before but quieter then w.o the restrictor. I can get pics for ya.
I did have to cut the lobes on the flange a little bit on the axle back part in order to snake it over the rear suspension brace. And you do have to bend the brackets on the rear muffler alittle (with heat orelse it will snap the weld) so the muffler tip doesn't come in contact with the bumper.

Ill get pics and a sound clip later.

I bought the cat-back from eBay seller ILOVETACOTACO (hehe) for only $129.99 shipped. Appears to be the same exact exhaust. 2.5" cat-back with a 2.25" flange for the OEM cat connection.

Also, you appear to have directional tires yet they are installed backwards on the driver side, or not...

Static sound bites don't really tell the true story....In cabin sound bite between 2000-3000 rpm at speed will tell the real truth!
