First Day at the !/4 Mile

Long story short I ran 14.672@ 95.25. The only weight reduction I did was to take out the spare in the trunk. Even left in factory jack lol but that was my night.

car# 40

R/T .799
60 2.177
330 6.204
1/8 9.491
MPH 74.93
1000 12.315
1/4 14.672
MPH 95.25

Recommendations for the 60 to get that better. I kinda slept at light trying to read what RPMs I should leave at. Thanks for reading........

Not bad. That is actually a pretty decent 60' time for street tires.

lmao, his runs were actually on slicks. so, horrible 60 foots!

like i told you Joe, for having an old DE with a 00vi swap, which should be making you run pretty rich, and having no tune, and no extended rev....i think the times are pretty good. Also, stock catback and muffler...yeah.

If you could somehow match what others do on slicks as far as 60 foots, youd be a low 14 second car as is!

I was on slicks which didn't seem to make much difference @60' considering at the 1/8 mile track I did 2.2 and 2.3 60'
The difference then was I spun off with street tires/ bogged a few times that day @Piedmont Dragway

Hopefully. Driver mod perhaps as far as take-offs are concerned. Every run I kinda bogged at the start b/c me just trying to make lights and coming straight off clutch. Never been one to kinda ride clutch out like that at high RPM's. Darrin Agreed that my times were good for four passes I got in. He suggested I needed tune as well. Finally got respect from @levirolla from supraforums tho

Yup tune and extended rev limiter are needed. Good times though.
