I wanted to get a new key remote for my max and the dealer wanted $140 for the key plus the cost to program it. I did some research on line and found the exact same key remote for $15.19 on ebay and received it and programmed it myself. Why on earth are dealers trying to cheat us

It's their way of making money. Kinda like how I got quoted $250 to Dynamat my rear deck. Then I went out and bought my own Dynamat

they charged my 90 bucks just to look at my car.. Quoted 800 for a new MAF and install... I paid <100 for a 2k1 MAF and fixed it myself. Dealerships are for people that have warranties or dont have the internet and access to the org.

The stealership is the absolute last place I look for parts because they are so expensive. I learned that very early on.....There are some great things you could find on ebay for a great price, just be aware of certain products....

When you quoted that, you just needed to copy the text from [ to ] and paste it into your sig. To get to your Sig, click on "quick links" then edit sig. So basically you are just copying and pasting what you see when you quote what someone says.

The dealership is crazy. I got quoted $157 before tax for a main window switch assy for my moms altima. My buddy is a mechanic there got it overnighted for me $96 after tax with his discount.
