New on here but having an issue with my ignition coils

I just changed my spark plugs and igntion coils recently because one in my rear was misfiring. Now i have 2 in the rear misfiring. I thought it were the coils but I switched em around and they checked out fine. What else could it be? Please help me out

Search this forum for your problem. I'm sure there are more threads on engine misfires than needed.

Your air/fuel ratio may be rich or lean causing the misfire. First thing I would do is check for trouble codes. Go to autozone for a free scan or use your ecu to find the codes.

When you changed out the coils and plugs, which plugs did you use? Also, could you have broken the boots on the coils in the rear? A bad connection to the coil could cause your misfiring issues.

all 4th gens have obd-2.

So the coils are not broken..good. You said the problem happened when you changed plugs and coils, I just want to make sure you're not overlooking the obvious. Broken coil would be an easy thing to have.

"the plugs are nissan brand"...if you just changed them, do you remember what they were?
