So when should this class action lawsuit/Mass Recall come for the rocking seat?

I've been seeing news of manufactures calling out mass recalls on vehicle issues. honda 500,000 GM 40,000(which is not shocking its GM).... I plan on getting a ~'12 next year and i'm just bothered by the fact that for most cases they can't fix this issue.

I haven't heard much worry about this as a safety issue but do you guys see the seat coming off in the case of a hard collision? I just can see a back getting broken/serious injuries/death.

what do you think!? I can see this issue ending up stickied once resolved.

I would imagine a recall would cost Nissan millions of dollars. They probably won't care until they come to a conclusion that it's a safety issue or until someone actually gets hurt.

Exactly, not a safety issue. But it's annoying as hell. My 2010 fortunately doesn't have this issue but a prior ride (Toyota) of mine did. They won't do a thing until somebody's seat detatches.

This is a problem on 370's as well, I never had the issue thank god. A rented '12 Max I had on business in Phoenix did although.
