any feed back on cxj peformance ?
you can read the feedback on them here : http://forums.maxima.org/7th-generat...stall-how.html
If you feel the outside temp is seriously affecting your cars performance then it could be worth it.
Installing an oil cooler is another option along with a true CAI system which there are none currently available aftermarket.
I live in the Pacific NW where servre heat is is rarely an issue.
With that being said I can still feel the difference between a 50 degree day and an 85 degree day especially in stop and go driving where not alot of air is being pushed into the engine.
Relatively speaking this car generates high underhood heat.

yeah the Stillen oil cooler was shown to drop operating temps from 220 to 200 on the Z's. since there's no way to see oil temp without installing a gauge nobody knows what temp drops you'd see with the oil cooler, but i just bought one and am installing it this weekend. it raises the capacity of the oil to almost 6 quarts, which is great and will definitely keep the engine running cooler with the combined cooler.
I heard the oil filter is different from stock and larger in size?
