Wired harness correctly, new touch screen head unit not working?

I have the bose system, bought a metra harness adapter from best buy for 20 bucks. matched the wires and plugged them in. I only connected the radio to the car to test it, but when I turned on the car, I get nothing.

double check to see that the radio is grounded to the car thats what happen to me and after 2 days i notice that the wiring for my 96 was missing the ground wire so i put a separate wire that i screwed on to the body and it turned on

Yeah, the black ground wires are connected. Idk what the problem could be.

First thought - radio fuse, blew mine without knowing, very easy to do, check that first. A problem I had when was original harness adapter didn't fully connect, probably not your issue, but verify connector does not move when you tug on it. Hopefully you soldered the wires, I had soldered mine but had to redo due to my HU going off intermittently.

The harness ground is not good for the radio ground.just ground the radio to the frame somewhere.

Same happened to me when changing head units. It can be more than just a fuse sometimes, mine kept burning fuses every time I changed it and stereo, clock, and keyless entry alarm wouldn't work. Best thing is chcking all fuse ports (under steering-wheel) and make sure there's no fried wires
