redline motor oil for 5th gen max
IMO if you use any certified motor oil and change it on a regular basis it will serve you fine. No need for redline for normal driving conditions.
However if you want to squeeze that last ounce of performance or are always running hard under extreme conditions (track use) etc, then by all means use Redline.
I had nothing but Redline fluids in my 300ZX TT. I haven't switched with my 02Mxima yet, I only have 6000km but will probably switch as I plan on visiting the track atleast once a week once they open, and I drive pretty hard on the street.
So switch if needed, but if you are just driving normaly, which also includes enjoying the power of your car once in awhile then stay with the the Dino Oil.

I read an article in "European cars" this M3 averaged 15hp higher on a dyno run, after a redline tranny oil switch
Hmmm, I didn't realize that using redline transmission fluid could increase dyno output. However, I never really thought of it that way -- Redline's website says it has the correct coefficient of friction and such, so I guess it's possible? Glad I ordered some this week
