I vote for the 11th option - I don't know what I'm doing.

Your description of your problem lacks many details and posting you problem 2 times within 10 minutes is considered inconsiderate. And the big font in your other post is considered to be impolite.

pac roem nis2

ok sorry im new to posting but im not a child and im not saying anything impolite im simply asking if anyone knows why it would still cut out like a straight forward answer cause all these forums never finish or are way off subject thats all its hard to get any real solid information it sounds like mostly guessing if anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated thx. p.s. im not trying to offend anyone but what more details do u need all i have done is replace my hu and install the pac roem nis2 like all these forums said to do but it dont work it does sometimes but still will cut out just the bass sometimes thats all does anyone know what that could be

Is it all bass from all the speakers or just the woofer?

Most of the bass you hear comes from the 8 inch woofer speaker mounted in the center of the parcel shelf. Go in the trunk and check out the connections. Being in the trunk, something could have hit it.

If you don't hear any bass from the door speakers or woofer, then you could have a bad pac rolm unit or the head unit could be cutting out. There are bandpass filters in both of those units.

I don't know if the Bose speaker amplifier in the trunk has bandpass filters in it.

But again, any problem could be a bad connection. Check the connectors, not only for being locked together, but that the individual pins are not backing out of the plastic connector. If you have a connector problem it would most likely be in the dash for the head unit connections.

If you searched the forum you would find that the sub woofer cut out is a common problem. If you have an aftermarket HU it usually make the diagnostic of the problem harder. My boss had and aftermarket HU in his 5.5 and his sub works, but doesn't sound right because the output isn't right. He also had cutout initially because the power relay on the main board of the sub amplifier wasn't saudered on well. You probably have a few different problems. I would start by eliminating the sub power relay Turn the stereo on and try tapping the sub with a screw driver. if the sub all of a sudden comes on, you either have a bad sauder on the power relay, or the relay is shot. If it doenst turn on at all, then you might have a dead relay or other. I had 2 problems with mine. The relay wasn't saudered on well, and I had an exposed wire grounding the speaker out.

PS: no respect = no respect on forums.

SAUDER = company that makes furniture. Also, a business school.
SOLDER = A method (v) and also a substance (n) to fuse metal contacts and allow for electrical connectivity.

PLEASE, for the love of anything holy, start using proper punctuation, spelling, and fully thought-out, non-run-on sentences.

You should be READING more than you're posting.
