I would have to suggest either MMATS or CROSSFIRE, depending on how crazy you want to get I believe Harrison Labs makes a 10,000 watt amp called the DRAG QUEEN..

Depends upon what you are going for, SPL, SQ etc. The more power you have the high up in the power class your ranked, obviously. There are also novice, intermediate, and pro levels. Realistly any good Class A amp that clean would work, PPI, PG, Orion, JBL, Mephis, etc. And it just so happens that I have 2 PPI's for sale see my post below. They have tons of power, are clean sounding, and are sweet looking. Class D amps are nice as well they tend to produce more power, usually for subs but they can be expensive. There are other things you need to compete as well, processors, eq's and others. Audio Control is one of the best on the market for items like that. I have 2 of their EQT's and an EPIC150 both great products. Run a search on the board, there are a bunch of memeber who compete on a regular basis in USAC, ISACA etc.

All depends on what you want to compete in. As stated above, if sound quality is main concern, you need clean amps, clean install, and good components. If spl is the game, there's no substitute for power and cone area. Big juice amps and big subs, simple. The key here overall is install. You can throw money at it, but if your install is shody it wont ever stick.
