After you take off the carpet, you'll see 4 long bolts facing into the car. Remove the nuts on those. Make sure you pull all the lights out of the taillights. Now the taillights are held on by this disgusting black goop. Just start pulling, pushing, whatever to get them off. The only thing other than that goop holding them on there is the bolts, once you've removed the nuts the taillights will slide out, you have have to put a lot of effort into it. Go slow, and it helps if you heat up the adhesive (black goop). It'll take a lot of force, but be careful where you apply it. Do not use a screwdriver on the side of the taillight to pry it out no matter how good of an idea it seems like, you'll scratch the paint and could crack the taillight.

you got them off? all you do is put them back through the holes, put on the nuts, and be done with them

loosen all the bolts and pull straight out using a little force. there is some black adhesive seal the tail light to the trunk.

if you are a big puss, heat up the tail light to loosen up the adhesive....then get in the trunk and push out with your palm.

if you have to tap the screws inside lightly with a small hammer to get it out, and the black stuff hardly held it at all

hey sexima i REALLY dont mean to discount your efforts, it looks real clean and well done but i dont see the skyline resemblance really. its not your fault i dont see it- i jus think the max's *** is shaped different . its like one girl has a fat *** and one has a thinner *** and they both have a tattoo on it. theyre jus not the same. ANYWAY- I still think you did a good job - congrats!
