CVT fliter change - 1st time

My wife finally got close enough to 150k miles in her (borrowed from me) Maxima that I could change the cvt fluid and filter. In addition to that I changed the oil, rotated the tires, changed the K&N filter and did a complete fluid top off. Maybe it's because I don't drive the car on a regular basis right now, but it seemed to pull harder and driving at 80mph the car was cruising at 2500 rpm's. I don't know if that's normal or not but nevertheless I'm glad I did the cvt filter change. Thanks to all the guys who passed on the knowledge, much appreciated.

Congratulations on making it to 150K miles on the same CVT transmission. You beat the odds.

What exactly are those odds, and where did you get the facts to support the statement?
