Jumping the fuel pump relay on 92 Maxima GXE

Hi everyone,
I have a 92 maxima GXE sitting out for 2 years and I need to get gas out of the car to try to see if I can get it running again. I was able to locate the fuel pump relay (the green one in the picture) in the trunk from an earlier forum thread. Can anyone please let know if jumping terminal 3 and 5 of the fuel pump relay will allow me to keep the fuel pump running so I can get the old gas out of the car. I believe so, but I wanted to make sure to not damage anything.

I know this is not the preferred way but I have tried siphoning and was unable to get a tube to drop into the gas tank. I have about 14 gallons in the tank. Assuming the pump still works, my plan is to not run the pump continuously but a few minutes at a time until I can get most of the gas out.

Thanks in advance for your help

Yes, jumping 3 and 5 will complete the circuit for that relay.

How about removing the back seat and have access to the fuel pump and remove the gas from there.

But what about adding new gas into whatevers in the tank and mix them together. Better than trying to mess with taking out the fuel
