Good Slave Cylinder Brand?
Crap I somehow reported the post like an idiot thinking I was replying.
Anyways.
I've been using exedy purchased from ebay/Amazon.
I do not have long term results to report back on yet, but they work so far.
Also if you're doing any kind of hydraulic clutch work (if you haven't done so already), it will make your life a million times easier if you delete the factory line and replace it with the one piece stainless steel line that goes from the master to the slave. Any one for a 95+ Maxima will work (unsure about older gens, never owned one).
(If you're using Google/search this info applies to all standard 95-06 maximas)

Thanks! Hey, any idea how to get the stainless steel line here in the Dallas Fort Worth area? Turns out I have to replace all of this stuff today so I can't wait for it to ship.
Anywhere that can make hydraulic lines (orielys or Napa)? You'll need the original fittings off already for them to put on the hose
As long as your rubber section is in good shape (or get a new one), you only need brake line to replace stupid *** factory hard line.

Unfortunately, one of the clutch line fittings is rusted out, so I don't have one of them I need from the factory hard line to make the new line. The rusted one is of course the fitting at the end that attaches to the first rubber hose segment.

Problem now is that I thought I bought an EXEDY HD pressure plate and clutch, but it was actually and off-brand "HD" clutch kit. Had the flywheel turned at a good machine shop. When it all went back together, it slips. It hops when engaging and slips once it warms up. Having it done again, but this time, I'm having a different shop do it that has a lifetime warranty on parts. Like a moron, I forgot to ask if labor is warrateed, as well. I think I'm going to have to have them put a new flywheel on it, too. Turning the old flywheel may be contributing to the pressure plate not gripping enough, causing the slippage.
I know of one company who can make a line like that, but one of my fittings is bad, so I don't have the fittings needed so that they can make a line/hose with them. And I'd probably pay a pretty penny for it, but who knows. Maybe I'll get lucky and the one I ordered will come in sooner than expected.
Thanks for the list! I ended up with AutoZone's Duralast because I somehow missed the email alert on this thread. Oh, well. It seems to work okay.

contact them and if possible sent it to them...there's a straight hose assembly that bypasses the clutch bleeder manifold. It's a SS hose assemble from the Master cylinder directly to the slave cylinder! I search for a p/n and post it for you once I find it!

I ordered the SS hose and it came in. I was just trying to find one in my area for a quick purchase before th clutch installation was finished. It was finished a while ago. Thanks for the input, though!
