Power outlet not working 09 7th gen maxima

I had coins drop into my power outlet in front not the one in my hand rest, I took the coins out using a Phillips screwdriver and subsequently seen a brief spark.so i
decided to change the fuse under my steering wheeling thinking that it was burnt however, it didn’t look burnt but i
Changed it regardless it’s a 15a fuse so I changed it with a spare fuse located in the same spot, the outlet still isn’t working any ideas? The outlet in my armrest works fine

Keep looking...did you have the diagram on the lid oriented correctly?

sparking without blowing a fuse is unusual but not unheard of. If you are sure that the fuse is good it is possible that some "stuff" fell in your outlet while removing the coins. Or, like in my case, the outlet is bad.(it doesnt do well with water in it.)

You might search this forum. I think someone mentioned a way to remove the adapter without taking the console apart but I slept since then.
