greetings i recently boght an maxima 99 and as part of a yearly maintenance schedule i plan to change trans fluid, a friend of mine, nissan enthisiast told me that i have to use oem dealer- bought transmission fluid, if i use anything else i will kill the trans, in my town there is no nissan dealer so its a little hard to get i, what do you think?what do you guys use?

 

I think you buddy is wrong. Your Owners Manual or the Factory Service Manual should guide you as to what you can safely use.

 

I use Wolfhead Super universal Fluid In mine..320K later and Ive never had a Single issue. Ive used this in several thousand vehichles actually over the years. Nothing beats the OEM fluid however. Order it online or visit your local store for its equivalent.
