Car constantly having misfires

Wassup guys, im new here. Ive got a 2017 platinum storm blue. Ive had the car a little over a year now creeping up on 60k and its been great to me thus far. My only complaint is that wish i could get more power out of it. But regardless, since day 1 i only put 93 in my car but lately I've noticed I been having misfires but the car never throws a code. Its only when im at a stop light that i can feel it mostly if i have my heater/ac on, sometimes without. Ive put gas treatment in and it will be fine untill its time to fill up again. Im not sure what to do as i dont want to take it to a mechanic and give them an excuse to chase the problem while Ra*ing my pockets. Im open to all advice. Also my adaptive cruise control works when it feels like it as of lately. When i start and drive the car it eventually gives me a beep and throws a orange collision dash light. Im not sure if i should look to buy parts or if its
a small fix

Wonder if you got some bad gas. A recent poster had similar problems with miss firing. A professional diagnosis found significant amount of water in the gas. You may just have to suck up a diagnosis by a pro. They will want to pull codes first thing so they can probably diagnose your cruise control at the same time. Good luck with this and let us know the path you take and the results. That's how we all learn.

Since there is no code to read AND you won't take it to professionals for diagnostics, you might never know what is causing your problem.

Good luck. You might learn to live with it.

Hey I just recently had this issue with my 2016 Platinum. Went through a lot to finally figure out because my car was throwing the P17F1 code due to a prior accident it had before I got the car. We replaced and reprogrammed transmission but the car started misfiring the same shortly after. Ran a diagnostic again and saw the 3rd cylinder was misfiring, ended up switching out the ignition coil and the car was running smooth immediately after. Good luck! Hopefully it is that or something else that doesn't mess up your maxima.

Great report. Coil paks are items that will fail after higher mileage. Do you have your own scanner? If so, how easy was it to find the issue?

I'm not sure why that coil failed, probably due to the prior accident it had.I do not have my own scanner, I knew a friend who I'm glad helped me run those diagnostics because I was going crazy trying to find out what it was. It wasn't easy at first, everyone thought it was the transmission but after reprogramming it at Nissan a tech there looked more into the diagnostic and found that misfire. I was looking at him do the scan but I don't know how all that works really, I found this vid to kind of make it make a little sense.

See thats what i mean about the run around. I had the same issue when i took the car to nissan. I was told my 5th cylinder was having a misfire, and he wanted to change all coil packs clean the fuel sustem as well as 1 other thing i cannot think of off the top of my head. Would of cost me upward 1500+, it wasnt until i informed a family friend at nissan about what he said that i had him call and it didnt end well in the overpricers end. He change the 5th coil and told me “Sometime it jumps from cylinder to cylinder” so it might come back. And indeed it has, im getting the feeling the true problem is something thats under warranty but he wants to squeeze every penny out of me in hopes that i run past the warranty mileage before they have to fix it under warranty

Sorry to hear this but I have not heard about of lot of coil pak problems on this engine. What is the mileage on your car? It doesn't hurt to keep running some injector cleaner through the motor for a few weeks. Make sure it is a Chevron based Techron additive for best results. Let us know how this all turns out.

Unhappy

So I actually had this issue come back up on my car, I do believe the issue jumped to another cylinder. Before I first fixed it I did try to find out about a warranty issue, I was told about something with the transmission was causing the judger, but when the tech at Nissan found the 3rd cylinder was misfiring, fixed it and the car was good, he did tell me it could come back so looks like another trip to Nissan.
