Battery replacment

Do you just pop old one out and put new one in or use a battery pack to keep engine and window other settings? This battery is pretty much toast and replacing it today.

Pop it out and new one in. Just dont try and connect it backwards. Of course you lose all your custom settings.

Something else to keep in mind, the NEG cable is always the first to be removed and the last to be put on. This will help prevent a short circuit.

Great tech tip of the day. Sometimes we take things as self evident when they aren't.

Jeebus that battery was leaking. There was crust everywhere. I got it all up and painted the hold down to minimize future corrosion.
