2005 Max head unit/aftermarket radio install?

Hi, I’ve got a 2005 Nissan Maxima 3.5SE (manual trans!) and I was wondering if anyone has done a aftermarket radio/head unit install and has kept the climate controls on the stock screen? I currently have a LOC(line output converter) hooked up to the rear deck speakers for my single vented 12” sub in the trunk. I kind of want to get better sound from my stock Bose speakers… if that doesn’t work, I would upgrade the door speakers, of course. But let me know what you guys think or what you’ve done!

Subwoofer side firing. With auxiliary battery and amp.

My stock head unit… I have Bluetooth fm transmitter and a cassette tape aux.

You'll want to get a Metra 95-7404S Dash Kit then whatever new head unit you want. There are adapters for steering wheel controls and wiring. Check out Crutchfield for all the parts.
