I"m going through rack and pinion for the fourth time since they are leaking again, went throught lifetime warranty through Autozone. Seem like they don't even remanufactured it right. Its so frustrating after couple of months and now this time the seal, seem to be blown at the ends where the bellows are at leaking a lot of P/S. Anyone have that issues since it's not Autozone's fault, it's astco or endurance depending what I get they keep failing. They are just bad as reman power steering pumps. Anyone have suggestions where you have a better place to get that doesn't chronically fail like mine

 

finally got my baby back and up running again, after several rack replacement, so i went rebuild it over the weekend, and went ahead do the P/S and when I was doing the pump, found the pressure valve was installed backward, that was causing the rack seal failed due to high back pressure from the pump. Message here, do not trust any reman power steering pump, since 90% of the time it was installed incorrectly or reman wrong, those people don't even know how to assemble it correctly.
