Qs about Stillen Front lip....

How much of the stock bumper does the lip cover? I am curious because I have a pretty mean scrape at the very bottom of my front bumper on the pass. side. I was thinking maybe a stillen lip would cover it.

The lip covers the whole bottom part of the lower valance. If you look below the bumper you see the lower intake. The spoiler sits on top of the lower part, covering it and it wraps around as well, hiding the stock chin.
The spoiler is held on by double sided tape and rivets. If your car is already lowered then you'll have to adapt to a different way of driving in and out of parking lot ramps as well as the odd speed bump.

Thanks BlkCat, that pic has answered my question.
I agree with JDM, your grill looks nice. If you don't mind, how did you do it? Is it gutter mesh from HD?

I see one of you guys has a 95-96 and one has a 97-99 front fascia... was there any modification needed to make the lip fit on either car?

Thanks,
Justin

Also interested in the response to this one...I cannot figure where the measurements are off and require a diff style front spoiler.

Hey Wizza, I just checked Stillen's website, and there are 2 different parts, one for 95-96, different one for 97-99.

FYI

I know they are different parts and all but not sure what characteristics on the actual bumpers are different that REQUIRE a different part...are they longer on one model than the other...? ... is one shaped that much different?

The top part of the lip has grooves that allows those vertical slats in the lower intake to fit. Once it is on the lip makes the Max look like it came like that. The sides fit against the sides and theres a flap that grips the inside of the wheel well.

thanks. its jus that the groove around the wheel well on the fender kinda pops out the lip but i think itll be ok. the test fitting is SUCKing and i guess i need heat or something to form fit it but im going to leave it to my body/paint guy to do it ..25-30 bucks sound not too bad? i wanted to do it but oh well its a hassle
