Just wondering what that Power/Comfort switch by my shifter is. Just got my license and the car 2 weeks ago (w00t!) and wondering what it is.

 

it turns the turbo kit from low and high levels....


naa.. for real on "power" your gears will last longer.. A/T the gears will change at normal RPMs.. and comfort.. short great ratios

i ride around on A/T then put it in to POWER when racing (im sure it has some effect on the speed LOL

- NEWs- i picked up a nail in my tire, when i was out this weekend, pepboys fixed it for free..... lol suckers

power mode will downshift with less thottle input and hold in gear longer with less throttle input, comfort mode will do the exact oppisite, also i suggest you find the search button (upper right corner) and search right now was a popcharger, cold air intake (cai) y pipe, and what a ftsb is. that'll give you the answers to your future questions.

 

gear ratios do not change what so ever. it's the shift timing. when in the center it will go to power mode if you push the acclerator past a certain point.

at power setting it does not have any effect on your over speed but it does allow the engine to rev higher before it shifts.
