The sound got louder and deeper, don't really know about performance wise, but it does have a growl! I am happy with it. Let me just say thanks to Steve for making this available! One thing though, the bracket that holds the filter portion does not fit! I used the JWT mounting bracket and had to bend it to fit flush. Just a side note, not saying I am unhappy.
