Where to find Walbro 255 High pressure fuel pump?

I was hoping that you guys would have some recommendations to where I could buy a fuel pump. I found this site
http://www.importevolution.com/defau...9faf966cf09eef

the prices are pretty cheap. Are any of these the one one that I need?
What about a fuel pressure regulator? Is this necessary, or worth it for the money it costs?

I'm not sure which one it is on that page but he model number on the fuel pump I got was GS235, (255 lph). I'll have to double check to make sure when I get home.

If you want a 255lph HP you want a GSS342. I'm going to try to run one of the new Walbro 190lph High Pressure pumps so that I don't need a new FPR.

I think the 190lph will be much better. You will not run too rich N/A and cheaper.

Whoops!

The mentioned above are fuel pumps with installation kits.

The pump by itself without the kit is what I need right?

Yeah, since they don't make a kit for the maxima. I just bought the pump itself.

The pump is all you need.. There is a writeup that LatinMax did on 5thgen Walbro install's. You'll need to shave down the tabs to make it fit..

Dom:

I have a brand new one that I never used. I will sell it to you if you want it. Give me a reasonable offer shipped. I will pay for shipping.

I had to take out the rubber thing on it to get it to fit along with shaving off the tops. I pretty much had to force it in. If anyone has a solution where u don't have to take off the rubber piece please let me know. Thanks! Otherwise if anyone has any questions with the install I'll be more then happy to help.

Dom what nitrous kit are you going to use, that will determine which pump I would recommend?
If its dry you need the 255 HP if its wet the 190 regular pump will more than fill your needs and you won't need an aftermarket FPR.

I am still looking for a pump. I will be using a 70 shot with NOS 5124. Dry. Any suggestions on how far to shave the pump since I have already bought 2 of them and wrecked them?

How did you mess up 2 pumps already? Also I didn't modify my pump at all. It fits as is inside the holder with just a little bulging.

If you have a 4th GEN max, you don't need to modify it if you get the walbro, if you have a 5th GEN max, it's a freakin PAIN IN THE REAR!!! I shaved down all the plastic pieces and also had to take out the black rubber piece. Even then I had to jam that pump in there real tight to get it to fit. It's a MAJOR pain in the rare. If you have patience and alot of time on your hands, (like 4 hours) then you can try it. But if not, get the booster pump instead, it costs 2x as much but is much easier.

Yeah I gave up on my Walbro pump install. Was a PITA.. So I'm using the inline Hobb's switch instead.
