Need help with NX remote bottle opener

Hi guys,

I bought my Nx remote bottle opener from a org member and he did not include the weather pack terminals. Is this necessary in order for the remote opener to work? From the nx wiring schematics, it shows 6 terminal on the switch. It consist of

one prong for the red wire from remote opener
one prong for the blk wire from remote opener
one prong for a wire running from a battery
two prongs for ground wires
one prong for a light source

I'm not exactly sure that I do need the weather pack.

Couldn't I wire it this way?

red and black wire from remote bottle opener to proper switch terminal
one wire from battery to proper switch terminal
two wires from a ground source to the proper switch terminal
one wire from a light source to the proper terminal.

can someone verify that i can do this?

Thanks
Man

By the way i'm in VA and does anyone know where to get my nitrous and gen 2 kit installed for a reasonable price?

Hey Bro:

You do not need the weather pack connectors. What you have posted looks fine. I recommend if you can to solder the wires on the back of the switxh. Not a lot of room for female butt splices to all fit in.

Pretty straightforward if you have done any stereo wiring etc.

Post if you have any other questions.

Thanks Big Cracker!

I will solder them on to the back terminals of the switch. Hopefully I'll have my kit installed soon and try my first bottle of Nitrous

It's for the light on your switch on the open position. It is a little orange led

It gives you a signal to tell you the bottle is open or closed. I leave mine open all the time, except for right now. After I put my new head on, and have all 6 cylinders again, It'll be open 24-7-365
