i have a 10lb old style NOS bottle and it is leaking... the leak is at the valve where the valve meets the bottle.... any ideas or suggestions on how to fix it?

Nitrous is high PSI, you can't really patch it. I would take it to the shop that filled it and ask them. I think you need to replace the grommet if not the whole valve assembly.

ok sorry i was sick as a dog yesterday i didnt move from bed,,,, im gonna give NOS a call today and find out what they recomend..thanx for ur help..

i just got off the phone with NOS tech support and they told me the only thing i can do besides buying a new bottle is unscrewing the valve and resealing the threads with liquid teflon... if that doesnt work.. to then buy a new bottle

 

So you want my liquid teflon because I got a lot of it left?

 

no i got my own i have 3 small tubes and one big plumbing grade bottle...

one question for all... is the liquid teflon suppose to dry or stay wet all the time?
