effect of nitrous on o2 sensors
Hey everybody. Just wondering what everyones ideas are on nitrous causing your o2 sensors to die prematurely. Ive had to replace all three of mine within the last year. Would running extremely rich kill them quicker? Im sure this stuff has been asked a lot but any help would be appreciated.

The only thing I know that will kill them is leaded gas. Especially race fuel. Thats why I use 114 Unleaded.
Its possible that being extremely rich will harm them, not sure on that but nitrous will definately not harm them.

I had a question regarding this system. If the nitrous is placed after the intake sensor, then wouldnt the exhaust coming out be different from what the intake reads as an intake and turn on your engine light? just curious cuz i had a civic that got a header put on, and the o2 sensor was placed on one of the exit cylinders on the header instead of reading all 4 which came from the factory. my civic flicked on the engine light cuz it was confused. hope this makes sence.
