How to mount the bottle?

How did folks mount the bottle brackets?

Did you drill a hole and bolt or just just drill self tapping screws?

Anything under the trunk to watch out for? like the gas tank?

Any pictures without the carpet and bottle?

Thanks!

I am thinking of putting it in the spare tire room, I also want to put a subwoofer box on top of the bottle so it can be seen unless you remove the subwoofer box.

Cheers

Just mount it over the muffler area. Make sure there is nothing under that area before you drill. On a 4th gen there is only a heat shield.

Remember that the bottle has to be mounted in an angled position facing FORWARD. If you mount it sideways, the pick-up tube inside will not be able to suck up N2O when the bottle is lower and/or hard acceleration.

Usually the driver's side rear corner closest to the tailights is the easiest spot to mount. This way you can run your lines straight under the car, attached to the brake lines, and straight up under the TB.

My guy mounted to a board ... then tap screwed the board with the bottle mounts on it ... Mine is also above the muff in the trunk.
