1/4 mile time for auto with 75-100 shots...

Hey guys, I have a 2001 automax , ( ya I know it should be stick but ... ) I have most of the bolt on mods, ( y-Pipe, catback, Berk Intake ) Underdriven pulley, D2 Coilover, LTB, FSTB, RSB, light 17" wheel, Energy Suspension bushing and motor mount, I'll be switching from the Cattman y-pipe to Headers at last before nitrous would go in. I know all about auto tranny so dont flame for this part, as I plan to put nitrous and have a lots of fun with the car, this should eventually worn the a tranny ( hopefully after few bottle refill ) After I destroy that stock tranny I will either have the auto bullet proof rebuilt or swap to a 5 speed. Finally my question is what kind of 1/4 mile time could I expect if I add a 75-100 shots ( ball park figure ) I know the time may vary depending on the launch, traction etc.

I hope you are all enjoying your holidays.

Cheers

AA

Auto is best for nitrous at the track so get a built auto. Now for the time that you will run depends if you use street tires or slicks. With slicks I say a high 12 to low 13 is def possible. On street tires somewhere in 13s cause of traction problems. Atleast do a dr mod.

Hey SonicDust, I though low 14's or high 13's with the stock autotragic, I guess I would be happy with those time. Thank you for your input, I'd be buying a nitrous kit soon.

Cheers

I would suggest the NX kit. And dont get the "mainline" kit. The problem will be the traction in first gear.

I'm probably going to buy a NX kit, with bottle heater, remote opener etc. What else do I need, some guage ( but which one FP EGT ? ) should I replace the stock fuel pump and put a Wallbro, also should I use a 1 step or 2 step colder plug ? Sorry for all the question but I wanna do it right, and I'm ready to buy, any good advise is more than appreciate.

Thank you guys.

If you going to go upto 100 shot and more, get 2 step colder IX plugs gapped to around .036.

Meh, i ran one step colder with the HGK coppers all the way up to a 200 shot with no problems. I guess you could stay 2 steps back for saftey reasons.
