Tapping The Intake

I've read alot of threads on where to put the injector for the nitrous. I want to put this puppy to rest once and for all. Where does the injector for a wet kit go befor the MAF or after? Is it the same for the dry kits? Please post all comments so we can end this battle.

After the MAF, everyone needs to understand if you spray our cars before the MAF, your MAF will blow. Also, it is different for other cars. My boy has a WS6 running a 125 dry shot. He sprays before the MAF/into the MAF. Whether wet or dry, the application needs to follow the appropriate nozzle position for the appropriate vehicle. Some cars spray before, some spray after. It's not all the same. Maybe this is why it's a little confusing.

Yep, you can see here where my nozzle is relative to the MAF.

Do you have a specific question about the install or do you want comprehensive directions? From your profile it says you are in Ames, if this is true I may be willing to help install as I am nearby.

The kits come with instructions, or you can usually download the instructions off of the manufactures website.

It works

I have seen it run before and after the MAF. Zex tells you to put it after the MAF for the dry/wet setup, but they also sell Ejector Air Amplifier that is before any type of MAF. The chose is yours before the MAF you could blow the MAF, and then again you could not have NOS at all and do it all so(blow the MAF). I installed mine today and it is before the MAF in(entire ZEX system) the air box for stealth. I have a warranty also, so if it was to fail it is going to get replace for free.

Sorry Brother, i don't think the warranty will replace it for free when they find out you have been on the bottle. trust me warrentys are good but they can you faster than your nitrous can carry you. just something to think about when you blow you MAFS

lol, or just put the nozzle under neath the midpipe, paint it...and tuck all lines in fuel hose.... and some fat wire loom over the nozzle itself....
