Help with nitros!!!!

Hey, I got a 2004 Maxi with close to 14k into it. I just got nitros today but we are having trouble finding the TSB wire that controls the accelerator. Does anyone know which one or has already installed nitro??

As far as I know you are the only 6th gen to install a Nitrous system. I was going to do it but changed my mine. There is a Nitrous forum. Maybe someone there can help you. Let me know when its complete and what kind of results you are getting. Thanks Warren

There was a group that installed a nitrous set-up on cardomain a while back on a 2004 Maxima. Their website is AZNTUNERS.COM. They have an email so you can probably ask them the technical questions. The guy on there had a PHAT nitrous system. For some reason they took their pics off cardomain after about 6 months or so, which leads me to believe they may have had a problem. However, their website still features the Maxima on the 1st page! Maybe they are still using it. Also, they had made a couple of timed runs with a couple of different "shots" of nitrous which were fairly impressive with times in the 12's. The guy had a system in there with TV's, etc.. so it was a bit heavier. Anyway, good luck with the nitrous, I would love to see a dyno with nitrous. Also, let us know what other mods you have in addition to nitrous..... Also, has anyone tried a dyno with the Greddy, Injen, CE pipe, pulley and a chip? I'm curious to know what those together would achieve. I know Warren has almost all of those except the chip, I think. I want to see Warren's again after the Y-pipe dyno. PEACE OUT

Everything you need is at the gas pedal.

+1 All the TPS wires run to the top of the gas pedal. Look for a White and White/Black wire that goes into a harness that plugs into the top of the pedal. That should be your TPS wires. Tap the one that you get the highest voltage reading from. I don't think this has changed between the 5.5th gen and the 6th gen. You might want to double check your FSM for the location. You can also tap the line from the ECU but the other way is tons easier.

interesting....

I would just install a button and a switch... I don't know how, but instead of a wot switch on the pedal I would like to activated myself by the press of a button... F&F style HAHAHAHA..

good luck bro, let us know how it turns out.. and welcome to the org...

Perhaps you'll notice that Deckdout2 and vq356sp have 'dumbed' it down for you.

I wasn't the one asking for assistance, or did you not understand that.

I understand that assistance WAS given to the person that asked the question. I also understand that instead of offering assistance of your own, which you can't, you post some worthess off topic nonsense as usual.
