Well, I did it. I went ahead and purchased an 09 GT-R. It's pushing 615HP on e85 right now but I plan to push it to an Alpha kit for 950hp by next year.
That said, I still love my 5th gen and am going to keep it for as long as I can. It will be my daily driver for the next few years.
I may be biased but I have to say there is a similar purr in the sounds of the two engines. The VQ35 and VR38 are both amazing engines and I couldn't be happier.
I just wish my max was grey as well. Can't say granny gold is my favorite color.
Are you in Raleigh or Rleigh? trying to figure it out here.

Nice pick-up on Godzilla! I live and work around North Hills, so maybe I'll see you around if you're ever in this area. My office overlooks Six Forks so I stare out the window all day whenever I'm on the phone. I see a white and silver GTR on occasion, but none in that color. Looks amazing. Congrats!

Was by there today! In the maxima though. I think I know the silver one (I almost bought it) and saw the White one on six forks a few days ago.
