No start after installing fuel pump?
Wondering if i did something wrong because now my car won't start and I'm stuck. There is something on the bottom of the fuel pump container that came loose like a rubber gasket that I'm unsure where it goes so i put it at the bottom of the fuel pump right where it goes between the strainer. Unsure if what caused this but i definitely don't want to leave my car out here.

Not sure because i replaced the cam and crank sensors after the stalling. It drove fine and started right up all day afterwards. Even yesterday it drove good until i decided to replace the fuel pump. Crunk it up and pulled the fuse and let it die. Installed the pump at least 5 times only to find out its no power going to the pump therefore no fuel is being sent to the fuel lines, each time i removed the pump gas line was dry. Took sum jumper wires with the pump out of car to test it with battery and it runs. But no power going to the pump once inside. Swapped out the relays and still no start, unplugged the maf, and put original cps back in. Did relearn. I just don't know what else to do but take it to a shop which i really don't wanna do. Everything was fine until i messed with the fuel pump smh

Not sure if this is the cause , but the plug for the fuel pump on my car has 5 prongs or whatever u call them that connect to the top of the fuel pump assembly. Now i saw on my car, that there are only 4 prongs that connect to that plug on the top of pump assembly. Looks like one corroded off or is it sopposed to be like that?

Update: problem solved it was the broken / corroded off prong on the fuel pump assembly. Got a another pump assembly with 5 prongs and she fired right up. I would probably have spent alot of money trying to get this diagnosed. But doing alot of research and my own observation narrowed it down to this. That one corroded off prong stopped the fuel pump from operating. Spent hours yesterday trying to figure it out. That would explain alot of the problems i have been having the last few weeks like the low idle, and running lean on some banks. Ect. I advise everyone to check this stuff because it wasn't the actual fuel pump itself, but the assembly that plugs into the wireing harness in the car.
