Led strip wiring

Hey everyone!

New member here, just bought my 2017 Nissan maxima platinum back in June & lovin it so far. My question is that I'm looking to hook up about 4 LED strips (under front / backseat footwells), & a few LEDs (cupholders / airvents), wired to a switch. Just wondering which wire to tap into for power & where i'd find that wire? on my old car (2008 scion tc) I just tapped into the cig lighter for power & install + disassembly of dash was pretty easy. Any response would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick

i have the opt7 kit, i just used a fuse tap on the cig fuse. that kit comes with a remote so i just used that. stored all the wires and the control unit under the center console. easy to remove the plastic panels. pic is of my 2017 rogue but i did on my maxima first. both same layouts. cept fuse panel is at a different spot but u can see the tap. no issues .

Awesome, I didn't even think of tapping into the fuse box; probably alot easier/cleaner. Thanks!
