Supercharger CELs.
Supercharger CELs.
I got the SC setup a few weeks back (finally), and have been totally loving it. I'm going for emissions in a few days (and hopefully I'll pass), and my CEL came on while cruising around w/o stomping on it. I may have hit up to 3300rpm, which would mean a little bit, but nowhere near WOT. I didn't notice exactly when the CEL came on, but I pulled the codes, and reset it, and they disappeared.

I did a search for superchargers running lean codes, and it looks like it's pretty common. As I said, the code didn't come back when I reset it, is this safe to ignore? I'm planning a S-AFC after christmas.

I got that code when I installed my SCer. Just reset the ECU and it should not come on. If it does come on expect the 0505 code. Everything is alright and running fine.
Well, I got he 0210 code once one day and I resetted it. The next day it came on again and I resetted it, and it came on again that same day. I resetted it and I poured a bottle of Shogun Import Fuel Injector cleaner from Pep Boys right before I filled up with about 12 gallons of gas when I was on E, and for the past week, I've been CEL free. I remember someone said to use Fuel Injector cleaner because one of the injectors could be clogged causing to run lean, so that's what I did. Hopefully if holds up longer, I guess it did the trick for me. I truly don't want to get new injectors.
