3 options of Motors....help decide
ok trying to decide what to do, now that TurboMax needs a new motor im trying to decide what to do...help me please...
Option 1
stock motor, turbo, stock ECU, cartech FMU stock injectors
Option 2
stock motor, turbo, JWT ECU, 300ZX injectors
Option 3
VQ30DET motor, turbo, JWT ECU, 300ZX injectors
i dunno!!!
option 1 would give more power over option 2. Option 3 would prolly get the most power but more costly and time consuming
regardless of options, i think i will do a VQ35DET project sometime in the future
THANKS!

Trust me when I say that unless you are polishing someone bizzallz at JWT then it will be more of a waste of time, effort, and money. If none of this appeals to you then you could just modify option 1 to include a set of upgraded injectors. But really what do I know.

Cliff notes: Get the DET period.

Is the DET the same block or is it a different block? For the SR20DET the avenier/bluebird is basically the same as the SR20DE. However the GTiR DET has a slightly different cylinder head, ITBs, beefier crank/rod bearings. Also when you say rear timing covers are you refering to the cover for the left cylinder head + bank?

I was really excited about that engine!
