I have a 97 GLE and have most mods Iam wondering if I should wait and get a turbo or should I supercharge? if so supercharge I would do the 3.125 pulley. what kinda HP would the 3.125 make? also I have a apexi catback exhaust could I still keep that if I got a turbo kit? or would I need 3" piping the whole way. I want to make some good HP #'s but also want to keep it a daily driver. any input is appricated. thanks

Seeing that you're an auto going with either will require you to do some upgrading. With either you should definitely get a vb mod done and tranny cooler. With the turbo you'd probably only be able to push out like what 5psi safely? And a 3.125" pulley for sc is ok. But auto's just blow. That's why my auto gave up on me so I have the 5spd in there now..

Iam prolly going to go 3.125 pulley and build my auto tranny to push 300 HP.

Yeah you can probably do a Level10 rebuild or one from Jeff @ Maximum Tuning.

yes but so do 5spd's, if you are looking for real power you are going to have to build one or the other... 5spd needs cryo treated gears to make it hold...

No one knows for sure.. many people have blow Auto Tranny's with low SC boost.. its recommended that you run a Valve Body Mod and Tranny Cooler with low boost, and a 5spd Transmission or a Auto Rebuild for higher boost
